Biography

Abel Peñalba grew up in Argentina, studied photography and filmmaking, and has been a Director of Photography since 1996.

He has filmed features, documentaries and short movies, plus commercials for a variety of products.

In his almost 20 years of experience, he has worked with film (35mm) and every kind of video format.

He is currently based in Germany.

Best Photography, with the feature Moebius, International Film Festival of Havana, Cuba: Coral Prize.

Selected for the “Cóndor” award of Argentina with the feature Moebius.
